    Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles

AHHHH MY EYES AND EARS ARE BLEEDING

Ok .. now thats out of the way...

I honestly could only watch a half hour of the show.

    The acting was horrible...

    the plot was lame....

It was like watching a crappier version of T2. (at least for the first half hour)

I won't be watching that again.

I have it recording in the bedroom. I figured I'd give it a try since there won't be anything else on soon.

    Re: Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles

    how can you say that?!

granted, i've only seen the original pilot at Comic-Con last year and word is they've edited since then (i dont know as i'm at work) but i was pleasantly suprised at how well they handled the franchise and played true to the mythos that have been established in the past movies.

the fact that Cameron(Summer Glau) delivered one of the best movie lines of all time, in one of the best suprise sequences in any show in a while, still gives me goosebumps.

not that i dont like me some Ah-nold, but i think the series will be just fine without him for now.

If you saw it back at ComicCon, then I'm guessing there could still be a chance for surprise there. All the marketing kinda gave it away that she was his protector though, so there was no surprise in that moment (for me at least) during the show.

I didn't hate it, but it felt kinda rushed. I mean I guess the whole point of the first episode was to introduce the characters and get them to the true beginning of the the story they plan to tell. It all just went down a little quick I thought. Could have benefitted from a bit more character development and a bit more time for them to feel comfortable where they were before all hell broke loose.

I was planning on watching it and then Mean Girls came on ABC family. Sucker for that movie. I'm going to watch it tonight though. I figure like Sir Clinks there won't be anything on anytime soon.

I certainly think that the producers spent most of their budget on the effects and did not have enough left for script development, but all in all I felt it was ok. I don't expect them to be able to maintain the level of action present in the pilot in future episodes (this is TV after all) so hopefully the dialogue can improve. I mean, as mentioned in previous posts, it's not like there is anything else on right now.

my only real complaint, after watching the full episode again and letting my excitment die down a bit, is that Lena Heady is not yet strong enough to portray Linda Hamilton's Sarah Connor.

2 years on the run have made her softer it seems
