The opening sequence from The Wonderful World Of Disney as it looked to viewers in the 1970s (different years).

sigh. I do miss Medleys of various Disney tunes. There's just something about them that really make you smile. They don't do that anymore and it's sad.

Sure they do, only now they are 'sung' by Stars of the Disney Channel

They're not usually accompanied by a lush orchestra, though.

(No, I do not mean an orchestra full of alcoholics.)

These days if Disney medleys are done, they're "contemporized," which is appealing for a minute or two, then becomes quickly outdated. Either that, or they're sung by sickly-sweet, obnoxiously precocious "child vocalists" that make you want to jam knitting needles in your ears.

Nah, give me my Disney songs sung by some faceless choir of middle-aged people.

The video is no longer available. Looks like the Disney attorneys are on the lookout.

I think you should have put the "stars" in quotes too.

Man I miss those. I wish there was a quality weekly Wonderful World of Disney on the airwaves again.

Nope, they're still available. Might've been a net traffic delay when you clicked.
