I added-on at BLT (again): Contract #23

I added-on another 125 points at BLT yesterday, giving me 425 points at BLT and 1,250 points overall.

This is my 22nd add-on to my original, giving me 23 contracts. At least they're all the same UY.

After seeing the recent pictures of BLT in the media (especially those fantastic views), my opinion that BLT will become my favorite resort was solidified.

Once I get the paperwork, I won't return it until after the new incentives are announced. If the new incentives are better for me, I'll simply tear it up and have it re-written; otherwise, I'll sign it and send it back.

I don't believe that BLT is going to sell out in a month. I do put some credence to my guide's claim about how fast BLT is selling, and that the rate of sales is greater than BCV's rate of sales.

My guide repeated what I've heard on other boards: that BLT is selling faster than expected, and faster than BCV did.

Now, I was already sold and she had no reason to tell me this to get me to buy, so perhaps there is a tad bit of truth to this? Or maybe that's what the management is telling their sales force.

I'm thinking of adding on as well. Either Bay Lake Tower or Animal Kingdom. I'll make my decision after I get a chance to preview the sample units.

My current points are all at Saratoga Springs (but I almost always stay elsewhere).

I have no doubt that the Contemporary location resonates with people since it is on the Monorail system and none of the other DVC properties have such amazing access to the Magic Kingdom. The next closest hotels in proximity to great transportation are Boardwalk and Yacht and Beach Club (both within walking distance of Epcot/Studios and on the friendship boat route).

Congratulations Mike!! Enjoy your many ownerships. Bay Lake is selling very quickly and has done a number on AKV according to my stats. have you heard how AKV is selling?

Nowhere near as fast as BLT.

You are very fortunate to be able to afford so many points in the Disney Vacation Club. When I heard that they were building a property at the Contemporary, I figured it would be popular.

Of all the hotels that I have stayed at at Disney World, the Contemporary has always been my favorite. You can walk to the Magic Kingdom, and the monorail is right there. I'll always remember my stay there as one that was special.

If I was a whole lot younger, I would talk my husband into a purchase. At my age it's just not in the budget.
