The resort you should purchase is decided by two factors: (1) Does your family want to stay at a particular Disney Vacation Club property every time you visit Disney? (2) Will they be disappointed if you don't? If the answer is yes, then buy where you want to be! This is especially important for frequent Disneyland visitors. There is only one DVC resort at Disneyland (Grand Californian) and it books up very quickly. If you primarily vacation at WDW and want to jump around to the different resorts to get a unique experience each time you visit WDW, then buy the DVC property that best fits your financial and particular vacationing needs.
