One thing has been troubling me. Given that DVC members can book stays at any of the DVC resorts, why would anyone pay more for points at the higher cost resorts when you can buy points at lower cost resorts and use those points elsewhere (i.e., the higher cost resorts)? I suspect the answer must have something to do with the process of reserving rooms. In other words, it must be more difficult to reserve rooms at a resort that is different than the resort where you own points. Also, what if you own points from more than one resort; can you combine points from different locations and use them together? Sorry for this series of poorly worded questions, but I am hoping that someone can explain the booking process and answer my questions.
