Thanks Zarniwoop! Those are some great renderings. I am even more confident that Toon Studios will be a great addition to the park.
By the way, it seems the plans for Crush's Turtle Twister were changed at some point. The plans I have show a very different loading station. How old are your concept drawings?
These sketches were shown in a Fan Meeting at DLRP last Saturday. So they are quite 'the latest'.
The Fan meeting was organized by Euro Disney s.c.a. itself, and was very good. They gave a nice presentation about new rides and gave a Hong Kong Disneyland map as a souvenir. First time EDL organized something so professionally, ten points.
I'm not sure the concept sketches are actually that up to date. The vehicles had originally been designed as spinning teacups on wheels (like in the drawing above), but are now quite different. Two guests sit facing forwards, while the other two face backwards. And the loading station and exterior queue are no longer based "underwater". The queue is now a boardwalk, leading to an old fishing dock, where guests board their turtle. The idea is that you now start on the surface of the water, before diving into the depths. It features the seagulls in quite a few places. I will miss those glowing puffer fish though!
