From what I can see in the photos, I actually quite like it! I could do with seeing some wider shots, so we can see how it fits into the Animation Courtyard as a whole though. Another point - weren't they going to build this in front of the palisades between Art of Animation and Aladdin, to hide the construction work on Toon Studios?

I *quite* like (anything to brighten up the Studios is fine by me), but I'll wait and see what it looks like in person...

I only have this photo from the Disney Press site.

I agree with DLCM, it looks pretty cheap and uninspiring... looks like those signs they put in video rental shops to promote movies.... definitely not what WDS desperately needs :P.

If only they'd unleash those great ideas that Imagineers really have and throw money at those. Then really inspired things could come out of the Disney Company. I'll bet you that one or two Imagineers with true creativity had a great idea for this 'village' that someone in a business suit looked at and said, 'Nice, but it's going to cost too much. Let's go with the revamped Disney Afternoon Avenue idea from Disneyland Anaheim. It worked then... back in 1989..."

For a temporary thing, it is probably just fine.

According to another forum (Disney Central Plaza), this is only half the village. The rest is going to be installed infront of the Toon Studios construction site, as I'd heard previously. This thing is actually going to be pretty big!

I think they were towing it to it's real location and the truck broke down so they just left it there.

It's cool construction/eye candy, but it seems odly placed at the moment.

Hope they don't have any plans for Disneyland that resemble this!
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

I'm shocked that they did anything at all! Considering that so few people attend that park, it's a masterpiece.
