Toy Story Playland in the WDS goes high in the sky !





From today i'll try to do my best to keep you updated on what's going on with Toy Story Playland !

Can't wait to see how RC Racer will go up in the sky and WDS Skyline .

I cannot find the words to describe just how hideous that tower looks.

The tower went up quick! I was at the park Jan 29th and that was not there!

The crane was working, must have been getting ready for the main lift.

The work on the castle bridge was ongoing all week I was there 25th - 29th Jan.


Fizzog - never let a customer or a women see a half finished job - give it a chance, lets wait until its finished before passing too much of a judgement.

That column isn't exactly what I'd call "picturesque". I know it's got to have a few more bits added, but still... its ugly.

That parachute tower is tackier than I thought...definitely not what I hope from Disney, and more akin to Dinorama in the Animal Kingdom...

...but at least the castle is as beautiful as ever (though I would love to see the round window above the front entrance unobscured by ornaments).

When is the bridge to the Castle going to re-open? I'm going to DLP the first week of March for my honeymoon and Im gonna be more than disappointed if the view is spoiled. Ive seen it before but it will be my wife-to-be's first time there.

I'll be there about the same time, and I've been trawling a multitude of Disney Paris forums for information on closures at that time. No one really knows, but there's some thought it may be under refurb up until April. From another forum: "The latest rumours about the bridge rehab, is that it won't be finished until end march, begin april. I think they are aiming at finishing it just before New Generation Festival starts at April 2nd. "

I'm just gutted (see? I'm using the local lingo already!) that Pirates will be down. I'm relieved, however, that Cinemagique will be open, rather than closed as it was initially scheduled.
