The new color looks indeed better than the old one, but I read at DLRPToday that Molly Brown isn't "The Queen Of The River" anymore. It got changed to "Western River Line". If you look closely you can read it.

Does DLP's river have animatronics and wildlife scenes? It was closed when I visited so I never saw.

    Re: Refurbishments over the parks

No where near as much as California. The view from the boats are mainly of Big thunder Mountain. There is a cool smugglers cave near where the keel boats load. Then there is a cabin with an aa fisherman and his dog (the ones in the Bayou scene at DL's Pirates of the Caribbean).

There are some basic moose AAs and an old conastoga wagon (though these can be seen from the train). Then there used to be an awesome geyser scene with the T rex bones (the same ones as in Big Thunder at DL). Sadly the geysers have now been 101 for a few years, but they used to be awesome.

And there is a coyote on a rock, that can be seen from Boot hill by Phantom Manor.

Disneyland in Anaheim is unprecedented in the number of AA scenes from the boats and train. The MK and DLP are a disappointment in comparison.

Slinky Dog is in rehab already? This is a carnival ride that can be found around the world. Difference is I suppose not many carnivals have hypnotised people into waiting an hour for such trash.

Bopazot, we will be with you in a few weeks, would be good to say hi, missed you the last couple of trips.

It's not a refurb! It's a test. They are trying the spare vehicles.

We all know it´s not a rehab. DLP and WDS only gets rehabs about once a decade or so. The stinky dog is one ride they could let rott away.

Nice to atleast see that they are doing something in the resort. I just wonder if it will matter.

Sorry to drag this all over again... but
How do you think it got this bad in the first place? If the parks in France had good maintenance then they would never get to look like they do in these pictures.

I just have to say that I think it is terrific that they finally do something at all about the terrible state of the parks. The original design of DLP is the best out of all Disneylands.

I didn´t even know that this existed:

    Re: Refurbishments over the parks

You're right but things change and DLP isn't as worth as you say. Even if I've never been yet in other Disney Resort, I visit DLP Paris every mounth !

I mean we can't say DLP doesn't care about the sate of their parks !

Unfortunately, we can't have great rides and important refurbs in the same time.
