The new Californian loop has arrived at DLP

To 4 pm, at DLP's Main Street USA, you can now hear the new CALIFORNIAN loop. From 4 pm, it's the old PARISIAN loop. (There are two music loops at Disneyland Paris for Main Street USA).

Thank god. The loop at DLP was terrible. Main Street should NEVER have had pop songs =/

Looking forward to this, as I really think they did a great job on it, and really enjoyed hearing the music from UP playing while walking down Main Street in Anaheim =D

I've never heard any pop songs on Main Street at DLP, except for that stupid and ugly Celebration Train.

I've just listened to the new loop posted by Olivier and I really like it. It's well done and fits very well.

Re: The new Californian loop has arrived at DLP

I dont get why they made this. Was there some freetime for too much people at the wdi music department? "Hey I dont know what we should do today? The cars loop is for next month so...lets take main street".

For the music loop itself its a bit weired somtimes. Does fit for california but not that much for the much grander main street of paris. Its more something for a smaller, intimate main street. (And yes I love both main streets completely)

I mean they created two exactly fitting music loops for paris. one for the morning, one for the afternoon. Now they change one just because they have a new one which was made to fit perfectly main street anaheim?

Maybe its just the "hello dolly" soundtrack as a base - but this loop is much more pop song then the old very glamorous one.

I can live with it. But its not better then the old one. So WDI let your fingers from the old music loop....

(Maybe just sad, that they love to change good music to replace it with "something" - the Space Mountain dilemma)

I have to admit that I've never paid that much attention to the music in the lands. As long as I think the soundtrack fits, I'm fine. And I think the new one does. I can't remember the old one, but I wouldn't have mind to keep it.

    Why did Disney replace it?

Re: The new Californian loop has arrived at DLP

I think Im just so sad because the ripped some of the best pieces. Pieces like Goodbye Broadway, Hello France; China Town; Let's Have a Drink on It...that was main street of my childhood. And I have a little problem with all this hello dolly! cause I know this movie quiete well and its totally 1900 NEW YORK CITY / Barbara for me - and not Main Street U.S.A...

Nope, at DLP. When I was there in October the majority of the time I was on Main Street some long pop type of song kept playing. I occasionally heard a minute or two of a WDW/DL loop, but it quickly finished and went back into some really terrible teen Disney pop song.
