Their contractual obligations were choices the management made when the concept behind the amusement resort was developed. Going back to the original thread question, I don't think the problems were geographic in nature. They came down to poor management decisions across the board (building unnecessary hotels, not funding or seeking enough funding for a viable second gate, etc). They don't get a pass from me for screwing up something they negotiated in the first place.
