    Is it worth the trip?

next year my Grandma and I are going to France, mind you, not the "visit Paris" France but touring the whole country. And we were wondering if EuroDisney (still call it that for some reason) would make a good trip to end the vacation with.

    can anyone help?

maybe I am not the right person to answer your question as I am a cast member at the Paris Resort. I visited Disneyland California last September and I did like the original park.

Anyhow if you are a disney fan, Disneyland Park in Paris will enchant you. The Space Mountain here is just amazing. It's a small world looks like new and not as outfaded like it does in Anaheim. The story of Pirates is a little bit different, but the Audioanimatronics are just stunning and the trip is longer than the one in Florida. And let's not forget Big Thunder Mountain - Frontierland is just the most beautyful land in our park. There will also be our 15th anniversary celebration with a new parade. My friends from Anaheim liked it a lot, becaue there is much more space, much more details and everything is newer.

on the other hand you won't see any attraction you do not know yet and Walt Disney Studios are not great at all. But if you come next spring you might enjoy the all new part of the Studios TOON TOWN with a brand new Nemo rollercoaster and a cars ride.

I would say it is worth stopping by

thankyou very much! If the plans are set I might ask you other things,

but one thing, how much would it be for us to go there? with the different currency and all.

I also heard there was a second park

Visiting an entire country is quite a happening already so I wonder if Disneyland Resort Paris will even fit into your schedule, but if so: why not? It's manageable to get a feel of the Magic Kingdon in a one day visit and as said before it's one of the best Magic Kingdoms in the world, top notch imagineering from a team that stretched budgets and was about details .

Money-wise: it depends on the dollar/euro rate, that all depends on the development of the American economy and Mr Bush's expenses, I always hear from Americans that Europe is quite expensive. Food prices are higher in Europe as well, less food for more money.

One day ticket for one park: 43 euro / 52 USD
One day park hopper: 53 euro / 64 USD

If you can fit it in, you have to go! My family and I went in January and just loved it, even though it was very cold. The details in the park are just outstanding. Everything is beautiful and the cast members are so nice. Don't forget to visit the dragon that lives under the castle!

Ok, do the CM speak French only or do they speak English as well?

I would do so if you're starting your trip in southern France and ending in the north. If you like Disneyland at all & have never been to Euro, then go for it.

    Don't worry about the name.
I still call the theme park by it's original name Euro Disneyland, while others still call by the previous name Disneyland Paris.

    Anyway, GO! That's my advice.

Most of them speak English. Maybe not the ones backstage and on rides, but certainly the ones behind service desks.

Yeah and all signs are in English too, visiting Disneyland Resort Paris isn't very complicated .

Yeah, most CMs speak English - you will be able to tell by the flag buttons on their badge.

Of course Disneyland is worth it! It has superior versions of the Haunted Mansion, Casey Jnr, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean to name a few! Apparantly even the new Buzz ride is the best so far... so yeah, if you're in France, why not pop in - see how us Europeans do Disney

Re: Is it worth the trip?

As others have said if you have an extra day and are in the area and especially if you've been to another Disney park then you can compare and contrast. The CM's are indeed very nice and helpful and everyone I ran into spoke at LEAST broken English and if they didnt know what you were asking they'd ask someone else to help out.

If your tour ends in Paris just take the RER A train as it ends right there at the park. Takes about 40ish minutes from the middle of Paris and you dont have to worry about renting a car and driving.

    Have fun!

Good. Because at the moment, it's almost completely grey.
