2007 : New DayTime Parade at Disneyland Paris !

Next year in 2007 Disneyland Resort Paris will launch a new Parade called '' Once Upon a Dream Parade '' in Spring 2007 and that will be also the launch of the 15th anniversary Celebration of Disneyland Paris .

You'll see those floats in order :

1st Float : Mickey and Minnie on their float with the Disney Fabs

2nd Float : Alice in Wonderland - Pinnochio

3rd Float : Toy Story - Winnie the Pooh

4th Float : Peter Pan - Mary Poppins

5th Float : Disney Villains

6th Float : The Lion King - The Jungle Book

7th Float : The Little Mermaid - Aladdin

8th Float : The Princesses Float

Has any more concept art of this parade been released?

Not yet but Im very excited by what we've seen so far.Im hoping it will be in the same league as Disneyland's Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams.As the floats are very elegant in that parade.Also a brand new upbeat soundtrack wouldn't go a miss,and please not the Tokyo music.

Disneyland Paris has some of the coolest parades. My husband wants to go back there so badly. If there is a new parade in the works, I just may take him up on it!

Yeah, I haven't been impressed with much of Disney's graphic design efforts for any of the resorts recently. The new DisneyParks logo still gives me nightmares. The Walt Disney Script should never ever be used for anything but the words 'Walt' and/or 'Disney'.

So at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, it is used too much. It seems at the Disneyland Resort Paris, it is used too little... I'm sorry, but the above poster doesn't look Disney at all without the 'Disney' logo.

I'm liking the concept art. Maybe this parade will have a totally different feel than all others. But I wonder why each float is divided into two movies.

^well, that is what the creative director decided she wanted to do.
This also allows for more characters in the parade than if each unit was focused on just one movie.
Also, Disneyland paris seems to what to bring out more characters with this new parade.
If you notice, each unit has two or so movies characters and worlds coming together- and each one paired up is connected in terms of theme/motif: toys- toy story and pooh, villians and their magical powers, jungle/adventure themes- jungle book and lion king, flying- peter pan and mary poppins, and so on and so on.

Someone needs to take her hubby to Tokyo Disneyland, where they truly have terrific parades. DLP has basically had the same parade for most of it's 15 years, with different names and music but same floats. I thought the nicest parade at DLP was the short lived Imaginations Parade.

That was a very good parade. Why was it scrapped?
