I don't like this video, but I'm not shocked either.
I think this happens everywhere, even in other Disney parks backstages.
You'd be surprised to see this video is much discussed on french disney boards, but a lot of people are indignant, topics are closed, links to video censored...
The only problem is why is this video on the internet ?![]()
My thoughts exactly. It wasn't that bad and they were backstage even. I mean, if they were cruising down Main St. getting it on, that's one thing.
LOL honestly, I was disappointed, I heard about a character "orgy" and found half-hearted attempts to be funny by acting risque. It wasn't that funny actually.
Disgusting. I hate when things like this happen to the Characters. It sets such a bad example as both Mickey and Goofy didn't appear to be using protection.

Goofy claims the baby is his. Mickey wants a test.![]()
Minnie: "Oh lala, Trimspa bebe!"
I don't want to see it out in the parks. It wasn't in the parks so, to me, no harm was done.
Let's see who gets my "joke"......

Although I'm very conservative when it comes to gambling (unlike politics),I would be very willing to bet that the Disney animators have made in house cartoons for their own amusement that are far more explicit than this. I know the WB animators did.
Cheers.

It's backstage.. SO? I mean, that's a whole different atmosphere behind the door, and even online do you expect someone to type "disney characters humping" into Google?
That was hilarious.
The thing is that it is Disney policy that no cameras are allowed backstage, though people break that rule all the time.
Also, I am sure they have policies and rules that talk about behavior backstage on Disney property. Truth is, no matter the fact that it is backstage, it is unprofessional and not the place for it. This is a place of business, and the integrity of the disney company and characters is what is tainted. Not that big of a deal, but it can become one.
Are any of you people share holders? I find it funny how many of you show off your 'tolerance' by saying no big deal it was backstage?
Back when Jim Baker from PTL took a dive in a sexual scandal how many of you were out there saying oh well, it was no big deal. It was behind the scenes, nobody really saw anything bad happen. I doubt any of you can claim you didn't 'Throw Stones'.
As mentioned by others in the thread, these are characters who's identities are beyond a price tag. Has the images of these characters been built over the years in an atmosphere that Americans would call 'wholesome'? Do the videos posted contradict that? Yes.
There are multiple problems. First off, it shouldn't have happened. Second off, any idiot that does something of that nature in front of a camera should know you're gonna pay the price. (Just ask the 'leash girl' who's in prison right now)
Why must we all share the same opinion as you? Your post is pretty much stating that.
First off, this isn't a sex scandal. This was just bad behaviour backstage, it isn't a crime, to my knowledge. They were having fun and knowing young people, many of them do joke about sex, drugs and other things as well.
You think that this behavior backstage wouldn't happen if a camera wasn't there? I'm sure many people in those costumes have doen similar things to that before. Frankly, I don't care, as long as they are not doing this infront of guests and as long as they are not being taped, it won't hurt anyone. I'm not encouraging it but I think your post is blowing it way out of proportion.
I thought the video was pretty funny... but I have a twisted sense of humor and don't take everything Disney so seriously like some do.
