Crowded and packed . It's the busiest season of the year for DLP and if you plan to come during this season just try to be there before December 20th or after January 1st .

Uh-oh. I was told that it wasn't crowded between U.S. Thanksgiving and Christmas (i.e. late November thru mid-December) Is that not true? I planned my trip based on that advice.

Does it make a difference between weekdays and weekends?

Lol, I did exactly the same thinking it would be dead...now I'm thinking I might not be able to even get in. Although I am going Monday and Tuesday in mid December, hopefully it won'tbe horrible...

I was there on 4th to 6th of December and it wasn't that bad. Except weather, but that's another story.

I'm hearing bad news here - I'm taking my kids (4 and 5) from the 21st to the 27th Dec - special treat as I claimed 6 years of bank charges back. What's my best plan of action? Would it be better to go certain days / times or should I just take pot-luck and get trampled?

Last year the parks were busy up until the 23rd and from the 27th onwards.

In between the parks were not too crowded. We managed to get on most rides without long waits. We also got good spots for the parades.

It cant be too bad as we are off again on the 21st

Do you mean they were NOT busy until the 23rd and after the 27th? That would make more sense...

No. The park was only really used by the people staying IN the Disney hotels and off site ones. There were few locals or daytripers.

I dont know what proportion of the overall attendence these two groups make up but it certainly felt less crowded that our previous 4 visits in February, March, June & September.

We went to the parks on the 27th and it was FULL. We stayed for a few hours and left.

This will be our second visit over the same priod so will let you know if its any different this time.

Hope to see you there Sarah, we're there from 21st to 27th.
Staying in Val D'Europe Elysee - anyone any ideas what it's like? Only one we could get at short notice - got a cancellation.
