How do you make a complaint ?

I have been trying to complain that I was charged twice on my Credit Card for a meal at Disney Paris but it is difficult to find an address or telephone number to complain to. Anyone know how to do it?

    Adress is:

    Disneyland Resort Paris
    Marne la Vallee,
    Ile-de-France
    France

... but no replies from there. Any ideas?

I would call your credit card company and challenge the charge. They can see if it's identical.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

    - Yes -

Wrote to Credit Card Company with details - they replied with a form while I was away - by the time I had returned and replied to the form then it was outside a 6-month limit that they placed on this sort of complaint. Both transactions are identical.

There's a contact form on their website, you could try that. They were very friendly when I noted to them that they had charged too much for my annual passes a couple of years ago

Re: How do you make a complaint ?

Sent the following email - no reply yet but early days for this contact - so let's see what happens this time.......

    Dear Karl,

    Happy New Year.

Your email address was suggested to me as someone who may be able to advise me or help me by a Senior Member on Mice Chat (a different look at Disney) at:

    http://www.micechat.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1270945&posted=1#post1270945

The problem I have is that when I returned from a family holiday at Eurodisney, my credit card statement showed that I had been charged twice on my UK Nationwide Visa Credit Card for a family meal in the park at Disney Paris in April 2006 (while we were staying at Disney). I wrote to:

    Disneyland Resort Paris
    Marne la Vallee,
    Ile-de-France
    France

... but did not receive any reply.

I wrote to the Credit Card Company with details and they replied with a form while I was away. By the time I had returned and replied to the form then it was November and outside a 6-month limit that they placed on this sort of complaint.

Both credit card transactions are identical and are for 82 Euros.

I more recently used the form at:

    http://www.disneylandparis.com/uk/se...tact/index.htm

.... but did not get a reply from there either.

The date of the two identical transactions is 07 April 2006. The Ref Nos of the transactions are WZGHHJY3 and WZGHHK3T. The description of the transactions is DC HOTEL REST 82:00 EUR 77 MARNE LA VA.

    Can you help with this?

    David Sanders

Re: How do you make a complaint ?

Aha - progress - a very good reply.

    Dear Mr Sanders,
Thank you for your email concerning your visit to Disneyland® Resort Paris last April.
I regret to hear that upon returning from your visit to the Resort you found that there were 2 identical charges for a meal during your visit. I can assure you that such double charges are exceptional and that should they occur they are usually resolved immediately with the amount being recredited by our accounts team as soon as it becomes evident. In order for me to confirm the double charge and refund the necessary amount once this has been done, please can I ask that you fill out and return the attached Credit Card Form with the details of the credit car changed and return it to me on any of the following addresses:
    Disneyland® Resort Paris
    Guest Communication
    BP 100
    77777 Serris
    France
    Email: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>
    Fax: +33 1 60 43 58 47
As soon as I have this information, I will ensure that your file is treated as soon as possible.
I am sorry to hear that you have tried to contact us several times and have not received a response. I have checked our records and it does not appear that your concerns were passed to the Guest Communication department and can only hope that you have not incurred too much inconvenience on this occasion.
I look forward to hearing back from you very soon.
    Yours sincerely,
