Receiving Materials prior to trip?

My wife and I are going to DLP in August. We booked through AAA and have received confirmation and the credit card has been charged.

When I've traveled to Disneyland we receive the tickets and other goodies in advance. This time, our travel agent is saying these will be ready when we arrive at DLP.

Does this sound like the typical procedure? Any input is greatly appreciated.

I have never had theme park tickets in advance they have always been handed to me at check-in.

I also never got the tickets in advance. Always at the check-in.

Same here when we stayed at the Sequoia. Everything was waiting for us at check in time. The only time I have recieved tickets in advance was when I purchased passports for Disneyland CA thru their official website. They arrived within 3 days!
