That's a neat picture . I have not been to this resort, so I am curious, do you think the TOT building in the background will somewhat break the theme Phantom Manor is meant to portray? Or do you think the tower will blend in with the theme?

No actually this was probably taken from a High Point but at Night when you've got the Lasers from the top of Studio 1 it looks like Dico Party at Ravenswood's Manor .

Or from the upper deck of the Mark Twain.

Aha, the plot thickens! You can see space mountain from big thunder but I don't think it detracts from the experience as long as you can't see outside the park (grr legoland dragon coaster, you could see people's back gardens lol)

Cool Re: Interesting PM and TOT Picture !

I don't know where it was taken, but as a photographer, I can tell that it was taken with a very long lens (unless we're all being fooled by photoshop trickery).

    A bientot.

Re: Interesting PM and TOT Picture !

I'm the photographer who took this shot.

Actually ralfrick, I used a 300mm long lens, so I was indeed quite far from both Phantom Manor and the ToT to have this perspective.
You were right : it wasn't taken from the ground from from one of the highest point in Frontierland. Yo can see in the foreground an arrow that is situed at the top of the Lucky Nugget's facade. I was indeed at the top of Fort Comstock at the entrance of Frontierland to take this shot, except that Phantom Manor is not visible from that point. I had to shoot this between two pieces of wood to get this perspective.

I confirm, like the other French MiceChatters, that the Tower if barely visible from Frontierland except from BTM indeed and the Molly Brown (the Mark Twain is now under refurbishment after the Molly came back last week on the Rivers of the FarWest)

Also interesting: The WDS' Tower isn't quite identical to DCA's:

Well if the CA one doesn't then it probably doesn't (unless Imagineering are going to wonderfully and welcomely surprise us with a different interior it's only the exterior that's slightly different)
