    Ideas for New Attractions

So most people who come onto this forum seem to be frustrated imagineers (me included). So lets get it all out into the open...

Quick pitches (and I mean quick!) for new attractions of any sort.

Here's mine to start the ball rolling!

    1. A suspended from above roller coaster (like the Hulk one at Universal) themed around Tarzan's tree-swinging adventures.

    2. As above but themed around the climax of Monsters Inc with the doors on the track.

    3. Replace The Art of Animation with a Dark Ride where animatronic Mickey and friends demonstrate (amusingly) how cartoons are made (a sort of cross between the Tram Tour and the Great Movie Ride)

    4. Something based on The Jungle Book - I dunno what.

    Bring it on!

Although Pocahontas isn't the most popular of Disney movies, it certainly is more recognisable (and politically correct) than Song of the South. However, I suspect they may stay with the original concept.

I doubt it since Song of the South is pretty much unknown in Europe

Do you mean a suspended coaster? A coaster like Hulk would never work as a suspended coaster your neck would snap.

Please DON'T! Rubbish like suspended coasters should not be built on disney parks. Leave that type of stuff to other companies... like Universal and Six-Flags.

AMEN! Like I said in that IoA thread, Disney never just put a roller coaster track down and call it one of theirn films. There's always a reason for the track to be theren and the only reason for a suspended coaster would be if the theme was a suspended coaster. Don't get me wrong, suspended coaster's a wonderful thrill experiences especially with great themes like Nemesis, but not at Disney

It basically means that the cars are underneath the track. Here's a picture of a suspended coaster and an inverted coaster (basically the same thing except for the design of the cars):

Agree! Those coaster are ugly, and I really hope I'll never see them at any Disney parks.

I'd like to see a brand new version of Splash Mountain, tailored to the French Frontierland. Song of the South is too cartoony. Why not use an adapted version of Western River Expedition, featuring a posse of banditos who go in search of hidden gold within the flooded mine workings? The only trouble is, the mine is home to a family of grizzly bears. Imagine an eight foot animatronic grizzly towering over your boat!
