Guess who's off to the Resort for the St Davids Day Welsh Festival

Hey guys Hong Kong Disneyland in May was the next time I planned to get my Disney fix. But due to having some time off and a bit of extra money saved up, I will now be at the Resort between Febuary the 29th to March the 2nd. I havn't booked accomendation yet but flights are booked. I think the plan will be to stay two nights at the Sequoia Lodge which is the cheapest option for a Disney hotel at that time, as the others are not available. I have stayed here before so its no big issue.

Now the exciting news is that during my stay DLRP will be holding the St David's Day Welsh Festival. This will include lots of Welsh entertainment, including a fireworks display on the 1st of March. I also believe Mickey and Minnie dress up for the ocasion. Of course you can expect a trip report including pictures from my new Digital camera when I get back from my short weekend break.

Will also be looking forward to riding the new Tower of Terror for the first time in Paris and viewing the new farcades at the Studios.

By the way I have just booked a 2 night stay at Sequoia Lodge. Montanna Rooms were the only rooms left, so it looks like the Resort will be packed that Weekend.

I was there a few years ago for St Patrick's Day. The additional entertainment was a green firework display and a pre-parade motorcade

. Traditional Welsh Choir performing inside the park.
. Live acts performing inside the Disney Village.
. A Welsh food & Craft Market inside the Village.
. Fireworks Spectacular that will display all the welsh colours.

Aparently it starts from Friday the 29th of Febuary to Sunday the 2nd of March. The actual fireworks will only take place St David's Day which is always the 1st of March. Hope that helps....
