Oh, how jealous I am. I was ttthhhhiiiiiissss close to getting a free flat in Paris for the week, which I would have parlayed into my second trip to DLP. Now, it'll be at least a couple of years before I can get back.

    Thanks for the photos, though.

I agree the costumes were very cute, the wait time for Mickey & Minnie was 90 minutes, hopely DLRP will be encourage to hold similar events to the St David's Day and St Patrick Day in the years to come. I'm pushing for a St George's Day next year, as seeing England currently doesn't celebrate it, through most agree it should.

Now there's an idea for a DisneySea expansion - Celtic Coastline! lol. Long rugged cliffs, billowing mist and caves full of dragons and druids.

Incidentally, I really think they should extend the St. David's Day festival to the Studios park, given the plethora of Welsh film stars. Richard Burton, Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta Jones, Ioan Griffiths, to name but a few.

But they've all adopted American accents, haha. No one would be able to tell.

    Hi,

I was at the weekend - was in the choir that performed. We didn't get much of a chance to see the park during the festival. Would it be OK for me to put a copy of 1 or 2 of your photos on our website (especially the one of Mickey and Minnie)? I've made a very quick note about our visit (http://www.gwalia-swansea.co.uk/news.htm) but will hopefully get more up in a week or so.

We were originally going to perform on the red carpeted stage in front of the castle, but they moved us inside because of the wind which was being picked up by the microphones. Shame!

That's so cool! I really don't know much about Welsh culture. I know a little, but it seems to be negative stuff (how the title "Prince of Wales" came to be, etc.). Could someone please explain what St. David's Day is and why it's celebrated?
