This Halloween Season will be diferent compare to the past years because Disneyland Paris will launch the '' Mickey Pas SI Trouille blah blah halloween party ''.

I like the design of this mini site and am amazed to see... NO STITCH! (or did I just miss him?). The classic villains are where its at and I am so pleased about it - the Pumpkin Men are obviously a continued irritation.
I am pleased to see that DLP have twigged onto the popularity of NBC at last. The presence of Jack and Sally should attract some older young people who otherwise may not dream of going to DLP.
And I too would like to see a PM NBC layover at DLP - even though everyone at DL seems to hate their HM one.

No PM make-over! The actual ride needs to made-over before they can give it a different-themed make-over. Although NBC's presence for Halloween will undoubtedly attract alot of people, including, actually, me! I would seriously consider a short visit if NBC was the centre of things - and parts of it could continue til Christmas! I don't like intrusive decorations such as the pumpkinmen (bearable on Main St. inexcusable in Frontierland) but if it was done tastefully, what better theme to use?

2 things. 1) It wouldn't work well with Phantom Manor because of the different show scenes, and how PM contains more of a storyline to it. 2) Why does everybody at DL seem to have Haunted Mansion Holiday? It is very popular & gets longer lines than the normal version a lot of the time!

I was judging this on the enormous amount of flack that it continually gets over on the DL forum.

Obviously MCers know better than the public whether something is good or not!

I frequent the DL forum the most, & I've never seen Haunted Mansion Holiday get any flack.

I don't think PM should have a whole NBC retheming, but if it comes down to it, I'd rather NBC take over PM than the pumpkin men.
Might as well have been called Pumpkin Land.

Hear hear. I have been saying for years that Euro Disney should be kicked in the rear for having the deluded self-confidence to come up with their own characters when they have the franchises of such talents as Tim Burton to tap in to.

The expression on the face of the lady in the foreground just about says it all!

Re: Jack and Sally near Phantom Manor this year !

Haha, so true. I love NBC, but I hate seasonal overlays. Dilemma! I'm sure they could think of some creative and classy way to use NBC on Main Street (AND NOWHERE ELSE!). It makes me sad though, cheap NBC merchandise is all over the resort, in flippin' Frontierland. Why can't a Frontierland shop just sell cowboy stuff? Unlike entertainment and dining, that's something I know for a fact the execs will never even consider fixing - what shops sell.

In response to this comment, I posted a new thread over at the DL forum...

http://micechat.com/forums/showthrea...ad-102678.html

There is a mixed response and it would seem that the majority of the negative comments come from AP holders.

NBC@ PM (or maybe PMN - Phantom Manor Noel) would certainly be a big attraction to me at a time of year when I wouldn't normally consider going. Perhaps if the NBC characters get a good enough reception this Halloween, we may see this layover in the future.

I got the impression that most of them were coming from non AP holders.

Re: Jack and Sally near Phantom Manor this year !

Because I feel, and this may sound daft to y'all, that if someone visits DLRP for the first and last time (cirumstantially not because they didn't like it) they aren't getting the real deal if the castle is covered in decor or Main Street is tarted up, hiding it's gorgeous theme, or a massive Cars billboard adorns Studio 1's front (nice to see it being taken down at last - I admit that isn't seasonal but you get the idea). And even if it is not a first and last trip, I know I prefer to see Main St. Frontierland and the castle left as they are, in there glorious original form.
