Re: Be there an official Crushes Coaster pass of fastness?

Haha, sounds so bad it's good, then bad again. Seriously though, a little something would be nice so the outdoor bit didn't stop the ride for nothing (of course the water effect would stop working after 5 minutes like BTM, where it is sorely missed).

Re: Be there an official Crushes Coaster pass of fastness?

i recently tried their Fast Pass System and in conclusion it sucks because even with a Fast Pass Ticket you still wait like 30min . The Stand by Queue was already moving really slow and with FP it is Worst .

So i would say NO FAST PASS for Crush's Coaster PLEEEAASSE

Fastpass needs to go at all Disney parks. It's simple a flawed idea.

So 30 minutes is longer than you would have waited normally? Or was it still beneficial?

I actually am pro-FP. The people who aren't smart enough to use it deserve to wait longer.

Re: Be there an official Crushes Coaster pass of fastness?

well it is OK for this ride to wait 30min . The average wait time is usually 90Min . But Fast Pass make the Stand By Longer than this so with FP the Stand by is about 120 Min .

For example imagine a Fast Pass on Dumbo or Astro Orbitor . It is the same ride Capacity than Crush's Coaster .

I would say when the ride capacity is like 1200 guests per hour it is OK to put a FP but not less than 1000 or even 800 guest per hour .

Also i thought that Disney would split the 2 lines and share the capacity in half and half but Disney is actually doing 80% of the Capacity for Fast Pass to All Attactions and 20% .

As TDLFAN said i'd be glad to see ALL Fast Pass closed like it was before .

Re: Be there an official Crushes Coaster pass of fastness?

But does FP attract more riders? Hardly I would say. So it's the same amount of people using the ride - just in a different order (ie the smart ones getting on quicker). Since FP staggers the ticket holders times, it is probably a good crowd control system as opposed to just something that makes people wait longer. I cannot accept the problems people have with FP - go to a ride five minutes later than you had planned and the queue could be half an hour longer. You pay your money and takes your chance.

You know... you keep refering to the "smart ones" jada jada. I think you are quite selfish. It's not a matter of being smart about how to use fastpass. It's about management respecting all guests as equals and offering the ride to all withour favoritism. That is what you don't seem to understand which does not make you so smart after all, does it. NO GUEST should be penalized with a longer wait while others use a system that surely divides guests into a 1st and 2nd class category, especially when the allocated number of Faspasses are gone for the day.. that leaves many without the chance to use it, and it does not mean they are not smart, but unlucky.
You obviously know how to play the system and trust me..SO DO I, quite well in fact but right now.. the use of Fastpass has become a must because there really isn't any other way to save time, but it's not because it is a good (smart) system.. but because it has become a necesity and because management has imposed that on guests. And as you say... "you pay your money and take your chances.." well that is why I have always advocated that Fastpass should be a PAY-FOR service. You want to cut to the front of the line while others are made to wait ridiculous amounts of time, then YOUU SHOULD PAY MONEY FOR THE BENEFIT if it is that important to you.

Again... it is with statements like this, where you come off selfish, obnoxious and not quite smart.

Why thank you. I do believe that is the nicest thing you have ever said to me. (Although Noel Coward you clearly ain't)

And as for those who have not got a FP, they are not unlucky as you say. The system works in such a way as one person cannot benefit from FP all day because you cannot hold another until your time slot begins on the first. With this in mind, I could be waiting for my slot to open for Crush while the last of the ToT FPs are going.
The early bird gets the worm and FP does not increase the number of people using the attraction so how can it increase waiting times? It lowers them if anything by (as I have already said but which you chose to ignore) spreading the FP users across the entire day. Suddenly people are coming back to the ride at times when they may not have previously considered going. FP to my mind is a good tool to manage crowds within the parks.

Than again, I would say that. What with me being 'selfish, obnoxious and not quite smart'.

Re: Be there an official Crushes Coaster pass of fastness?

I don't care for all the issues regarding principal with FP. All I know is, I can either queue for 2 minutes or 40 for ToT, and I choose 2, thank you very much. Without FP, I would think twice before booking a Disney holiday knowing that hellish stand-by queues await on every ride relentlessly with no exceptions, trusting luck to give me a shorter queue. And also, if you think it should be a pay-for service, well, that makes your '1st and 2nd class' mumbo-jumbo comical, because only those who can afford to skip queues then skip queues, yeah, really fair!

They have a system like that at Alton Towers, where you pay for a fast pass ticket, which lets you cut the line for big rides once, and to be honest, I think its a lot unfairer that way. In DLP, all the guests start out with the same chance of getting on all the rides (apart from which time they arrive), but in Alton Towers, the people with the FP tickets are treated better because they have more money.

Re: Be there an official Crushes Coaster pass of fastness?

Well said, the only difference in chances is ignorance to the FP service, which is ridiculous, because if people don't know about regular FP why would they know about paying FP? It makes it even worse because that's doulbe the unfairness (not that I believe the current system is unfair).

Yes, doesn't make much sense at all. So the current system is unfair because it relies on the personal initiative of guests to figure out how to use the very simple system and the solution for making it more egalitarian would be to have it rely on the personal initiative of guests AND their ability to pay extra? Sounds like backwards logic.

It works for some rides, some it doesn't.
