Remember..I think I told you I did some go-go dancing on a box in my youth to pay some bill while in college. So I *know* how to shake my hips in a sensuous way but I am only jealous at those who still have the body for it, unlike me

this must not be at the expense of quality entertainment.
Agreed.

But yes, DLP was heading in the right direction, and last August/Halloween looked like everything was on the right track. But now, I am very worried.
Understandable, since I have been going through the same in regards to WDW's entertainment. We'll see how that little ray of hope lasts.

A lot of people think of cartoons when they think of Disney, I can't imagine Disneylany without Mickey and Minnie.
The Haunted Mansion
Pirates of the Caribbean
Jungle Cruise
The Matterhorn
Space Mountain
The Tiki Room
Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln
The Monorail

How are any of those world-famous icons less Disney because they aren't based on cartoons? Is 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea less a classic because it's not animated?

Nothing about "Disney" demands that it be cartoons. "Disney" can be whatever the company wants it to be - and in better times that's what we got. But today's management just finds cartoons an easier sell than creating new productions filled with quality, imagination and art. Mickey, Minnie, and Fairies are a crutch for the talentless.

None of the bold attractions are in Disneyland Paris and might be unfamiliar to many a non-American.
I don't want an argument about it, I love the cartoons, I love non-animated films and I love all the attractions, whether original or based on a toon. My favourite attraction right now is Tower of Terror which is neither based on a cartoon nor original.
