Ok, I know I'll get crucified for saying this....but I kind of *like* the jester-overlay in that picture (I assume from the 5th Anniversary?). If they are going to overlay the castle I'd rather they go whole-hog like this or the Magic Kingdom Birthday Cake Castle. Love it or hate it, at least it is daring and trying to be something special. I much prefer that to these half-hearted throw-characters-all-over-the-castle approaches.

That said, I think such overlays should only happen once a decade at most--again, to make it truly a special event--and the rest of the time the castle should be in its natural state.

Also--the banners NEVER look good! All they do is disrupt the viewlines. Remove them all please!

I actually agree with you Dan! At least the cake-castle was themed from top to bottom, the decorations we have now are so half-arsed. It's like they've just stuck something on the front, oh wait, that's exactly what they've done!

The banners are just ridiculous. You'd think that maybe someone within DLP management might have thought "Have we got too many...?"
If management were desperate to have them, they could have had 2 banners, one on either side Main Street at the start of the pavement.
