Re: New Starbucks in the Disney Village!

Do you think Disney will ask Starbucks to print Mickey Mouse Special Starbucks Coffee mugs and cups ?

That would be fun to see Mickey with an Starbucks Coffee Outfit for the Grand Opening .

It would be fun to see a Disney version of their City Mugs — although it's not exactly a city... And it's not like there aren't enough mugs for sale at Disneyland Paris. Hm, scratch that.

But it would be nice if they acknowledged Disney in some way, rather than just being a boring old Starbucks. The company is quite desperate for European success at the moment, so who knows.

Re: New Starbucks in the Disney Village!

I'd also like to see Starbucks (or Costa Coffee, or Brioche Dorrée or anyone!) take over the Coffee Grinder shop on Main Street. Turn it into a proper coffee bar, and bring back the international newspaper vendor on Market Street! It used to be such a great place to sit and relax.

I'm not so sure about a branded coffee house on main street (or anywhere in the park) but would really like good coffee in the park. They could surely just buy one of those nice big espresso makers like Starbucks use.

I don't see Disney doing that on their own. There would have to be some sort of corporate deal. What about Nestle's Nespresso brand?

Nespresso would be great (I LOVE their coffee). I know they do pro products but not sure if it scales up to what Disneyland could sell.

Re: New Starbucks in the Disney Village!

I'd love to have better coffee in Disney's parks. Though...does DLP use the same blend as the American parks? I remember liking the Nescafe a lot better in Paris than whenever I've had it at WDW...

Re: New Starbucks in the Disney Village!

It seems an official opening date has been announced - Saturday 20th June. Not long to go!

Re: New Starbucks in the Disney Village!

Interesting to see the logo in a different context, though it is hard to detect its exact shape on the patterned wood...

Re: New Starbucks in the Disney Village!

Its a step forward for an ever depressing Disney Village IMO.

Re: New Starbucks in the Disney Village!

Thanks for the pics, Baby-T! You're right, the interior looks great, and it's nice to see they've continued with the patterned wood effect for the fittings.

The Village really needs a calm, relaxing spot where Guests can sit and relax for a while, and it looks as though Starbucks is going to provide that.

Re: New Starbucks in the Disney Village!

Hmm, I can't help but take your statement with a pinch of salt Soundtracker. I fear that there will be nothing tranquil, calm and relaxing about the world's most popular coffee chain in Europe's most popular theme park resort...oh well.
