Fast pass and rides strategy suggestions, please.

i will be at the parks on Saturday. i imagine the crowds will be heavy and want to take full advantage of fast pass. Based on your experiences, how would you go about it assuming you are entering one of the parks right when they open.

i am content missing out on rides similar to the ones at Disneyland (Star Tours, Fantasyland rides).

While we're at it, favorite place to eat?
