Mickeys Not so scary party?

We will be staying at the New York hotel Friday 9th of October and wondered if Mickeys Not So Scary Party is worthwhile for two middle age adults...or is it really aimed at little kids?
I was all enthusiastic and ready to but the tickets and then read the conditions and saw that only Fantasyland will be open.
I will get a kick out of kids in costumes but is this enough to warrant the extra tickets?
Has anyone been?

Re: Mickeys Not so scary party?

While I haven't attended Mickey's Not So Scary Party, I have to say it does seem to be a bit more geared for the kids.

However, when it comes to the Halloween Party on the 31st...that one is pretty much worth it for everyone. The whole park is open and the special fireworks and parade is certainly a treat.

Though I will say the bigger treat is seeing my "furry" friends riding attractions such as PoTC, Phantom Manor, Big Thunder, Star Tours, Buzz and even Space Mountain.

With that said, I'd say give it a shot if you can't attend the Halloween Party. Who knows, you might be pleasantly surprised.

I'm not crazy, now if you will excuse me I have tea time with the ghosts at Haunted Mansion.

We wish, but I haven't seen Disney's characters ride the attractions. When I refered to my "furry" friends, I ment my fellow Furries.

Yes, they are actually riding Space Mountain...Now there are plenty more videos, though unfortuntly Youtube really screwed up the picture and sound quality of them.

In my opinion save your money for a Walt's Restaurant than pay for a Not So good Halloween Party . Except the on the 31th . This one is packed and very nice with a parade and a fireworks as well .

Re: Mickeys Not so scary party?

Thanks for your input.
Unfortunately we cant make the halloween party as we will be in Italy at the time.
I have a lunch at Walts booked (using the full board offer)
I think we will just go for the day and see how we feel at closing time.
