I could be wrong, but probably because very few people outside of the U.S. know about the TV series. It would be interesting to see how WDI will compensate for this.

Actually The Twilight Zone is a well known show in Japan, as is a lot of the old TV shows and many things concidered "Americana". TDS' tower will be different because they have come up with a new storyline to tie it with the rest of American Waterfront.

The Disneyland Paris version will not be "The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror" it will simply be "The Tower of Terror". The story of people disappearing in an elevator shaft will remain, but there will be no reference to "The Twilight Zone".

Actually, the DLP version of ToT will carry the Twilight Zone name. Above the Twilight Zone being a popular choice in most European Sci-Fi channels, the Twilight Zone is well known in Europe. I cannot confirm why the Japanese ToT is not carrying the name - I originally thought it was because of lack of awareness of the theme in Japan but TDLFAN proved me wrong. I'm not sure it was due to fitting in with the American Waterfront theme though.....

My understanding is that a new storyline that may involve the SS Columbia ship builder and a sinking luxury liner is what will drive the ghostly paranormal occurances in TDS' TOT. But I may be a bit off course here. Just what I have heard so far.

I heard DLP's will be a DCA clone....

(meaning WDW's might be the only one with the 5th dimension transfer room)

Though tokyo's will carry same idea with a new theme/plot to fit with it's surroundings..
