First meal suggestions ...

OK, I'm arriving at about 7 p.m. Parks will be closed. Where should I go for a meal that will put me in the Disney mood after flying all day from Florida?

Not looking for fast food or anywhere loud.

Thoughts?

Once again, Annette's at Disney Village is a sound bet, but can be a little loud. You might be better off trying the food court at Val d'Europe (the huge urban development and mall on the Disney property). They've got some nice places there - Paul's is good, and typically French.

WDW1974, personally I've tried very few restaurants at DLP. Annette's is one, but mainly for their shakes!

Both sites have reviews of restaurants at DLP (in the parks and outside). (Hope I'm not breaking any rules posting other sites...)

you can try to the Disneyland Hotel or Sequoia Lodge , New York Hotel or Nexport Bay Club .

Normally they can't let someone eat inside the restaurant except if you're staying on that hotel but i may ask to those hotels if they can afford someone from outside to take a brakfast .

Except those Hotels you can try Mc Donald's at Disney Village or Café Mickey but i think Café Mickey is by Reservation i can also ask for Café Mickey too .

I'd like to kindly point that, except for breakfast, the restaurants at the hotels ALL welcome non-hotel-guests. I stayed at Newport once and ate at Hotel New York's Manhattan and Disneyland Hotel's Inventions with no problem. I wanted to point that because hotel restaurants are often forgotten but that is such a shame because they often offer very good dining experiences.

If you can afford it (and are lloking for a cozy and intimate atmosphere) I strongly suggest Manhattan Restaurant at Disney's Hotel New York.

Go to Café Mickey! Call them in advance because it is full all the time. The food is really nice (love the pizza) and the characters are there, which put you immediately in the mood. Another great choice would be the California Grill since it has a gorgeous view on the castle and Main Street and a food to die for (it is really expensive though) but, again, call them and be specific about the view! Hope it helps.

I also recommend a meal at any restaurant in the Disneyland Hotel or Hotel New York if you're willing to spend a bit of money. Lovely atmosphere and good food, perfect for unwinding! There also tends to be less kids running around at these restaurants.

If you're on a tighter budget your options are limited if you don't want noise. Just about all the restaurants in Disney Village get noisy, especially Annettes. If you have to eat in the village, just choose the menu that appeals to you the most, accept that it's going to be noisy, and enjoy yourself!

I don't know how Steakhouse is rating these days but it tends to be a little more quiet than the other Disney Village restaurants (since it's more expensive). Expect lots of people in DV, with the parks closing around 6 or 8 it gets swamped with guests....

Aw. I was gonna say Auberge de Cendrillon behind the Chateau, but the parks are closed .
Why are they closing at such a silly time?

testing a theory - 6pm closing less than 21000 guests, more than that 8pm closing. it has something to do with running costs, though so far the test has driven even more people away from going in the first place with the advertised worse case closing (6pm) that instead of saving money theve driven the crowds down even more!!
