Which Airport

I went on last night just to see how much its going to cost us. It came up with three airports. Which on is closer?

Re: Which Airport

Not sure if it is the closest but we flew into CDG--Charles DeGaul (maybe spelled wrong). There was a shuttle bus that took us to the resort with a total trip time of about 25-30 minutes from the airport to the Sequoia Lodge. Not sure how frequently the shuttles run but we waited only 5 minutes for one. It cost about $15 (US currency) and surprisingly easy to find the bus stop, considering everything else in the airport is confusing, and we fly on Air France.

Yes, Charles de Gaulle Intl Airport is the closest to the DLPR.

Re: Which Airport

CDG has a few easy ways to get to DLPR. We used the RER since we were staying at a hotel on the same line DLPR is on and were also visiting Paris. Very easy to get there via the train, though if you're going directly to DLPR from the airport, the train will take quite a bit longer (moving into the city, then back out toward DLPR).

Re: Which Airport

CDG (Charles de Gaulle) Is the best Airport to fly into for Disneyland Resort Paris.
There are several ways to get to the resort directly from the airport. Its best to avoid going into the centre of Paris and using the train services from there as it takes a very long time.

There is a special bus service that runs from Terminals 1 and 2, this is called the VEA shuttle, it costs 14 euros for adults and 7 euros for children, it takes about 40 minutes and the bus stops at all Disney hotels and the central Marne la Vallee train station.

If you want to get there a bit quicker then take the high speed TGV train. You will need to get a bus from which ever terminal you fly into to the airport TGV and RER train station. The journey on the TGV only takes about 10 minutes and costs around 20 euros. The train stops at Marne la Vallee (the next stop from the airport) you can then go straight into the parks leaving your luggage at the entrances or you can get the Disney resort hotel busses to your hotel, the bus stops are right outside the train station.

Enjoy your stay!!!!

P.s If you need anymore advice, just ask, will be happy to help.

Re: Which Airport

Beauvais is pretty far...

You'll have to get a bus that costs 10 euro and it will bring you to near place de la concorde..(i think thats where it brings you...it's a couple of years since i did it!)..and after you find a metro stop...you can get the RER A to Marne-la-Valée...

I'd Fly CDG if I was you!!! And just take the VEA shuttle bus!

Re: Which Airport

Charles de Gaulle is the general default airport for most large and established carriers (all US carriers, European, and Asian airlines). There isn't much of another airport you can fly into. Orly Airport is only served by European charters, domestic French airlines, and North African carriers.

Though for a lower fare you could fly to Beauvais Tillé with Ryanair. But it would require flying into one of their hubs (London Luton or Stansed, or Glasgow) Ryanair is like Southwest but much cheaper and with less ammenities (no drinks, food, reclining seats, tray tables, seat pockets, magazine, etc.). So if you are looking for low fares, some choose that.

I believe from CDG you can get to DLRP by VEA (Val dEurope Airports) buses every 20 minutes and cost 13-16€.
