Euro Disney 3Q Revenue Up 13% As New Rides Attracts Visitors
Dow Jones
Euro Disney SCA said revenue grew 13% in the third quarter to 286.6 million euros ($362.8 million), driven by an 18% rise in revenue from its theme park operations to 160.7 million euros.

The group, which is minority owned by Walt Disney Co. (DIS ) said marketing around its recently opened Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast ride helped increase customer numbers.

Euro Disney said that, beginning in fiscal 2007, it is planning to open further new attractions.

Wow. Rising numbers from one new attraction is vey good. Wait until there are three new rides, one of which is a major E-Ticket and most Europeans have never seen before (in its form). Go Disneyland Paris!

I hope this trend continues for DisneyLand Paris. Sounds like the plan they have is on track.

remember that during the sharholders meeting Mr Karl Holz the CEO of Euro Disney SAS said that the new Attractions Plan is for 2009 and we actually know that fiscal Year

2006 : Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast .

2007 : Crush Coaster and 15th anniversary Celebration and new daytime Parade .

2008 : Tower Of Terror and Cars and Motor Cars Parade from DMGM Studios .

2009 : something for DLP or WDS ?

What a SHOCK to Disney management. Imagine the horror! Add new rides and people will show up.

While we do have to factor in the Easter bump, its still a nice positive sign of growth for DLRP.But next year I think will be the year that will either make or break the Resort.
