One Mighty Weekend - Paris - is anyone from here going?

Curious to know if anyone else from here is going to the "One Mighty Weekend" event at Disneyland Paris on June 29th.

There may be some people here wondering what the event is. One Mighty Weekend is a huge Gay and Lesbian event at the Disneyland Paris Resort (there is similar event held in Orlando every year). Proceeds benefit the Elton John Aids Foundation. This year's event is on June 29th. I understand that this is an amazing and fun event. If you like to have fun and love to dance, you should definitely consider going

I don't like any awareness event in a general public place that puts one group of people over another, especially if it's a public place that you have to pay for to get in.

what I mean to sya is, that Disneyland Paris (or any disneypark) doesn't host other benefits for other groups or even other illnesses instead of AIDS, like breastcancer or COPD

This statement isn't true. Disney hosts MANY private events in the parks. Some of them are sponsored by Disney, some aren't. Orlando hosts the Nights of Joy which is a Christian event (many non-Christians find that event really offensive). But that doesn't mean that Disney shouldn't do it.

But that is all off topic to this thread. We aren't here to discuss whether you or anyone else thinks Disneyland Paris "Should" host these events. The topic of the thread is "Who is going to One Mighty Weekend". Please stay on topic!

since this is a public event, we might be there, but not just for the event itself.
