Crush Coaster Restrictions

Now we've seen the Crush Coaster vehicle and some parts of track, what do people think will be the height restriction on the Crush Coaster when it's finished?

I know my son, who will be 4 by then, will be devestated if he can't ride it in the autumn but judging from the vehicles I cant see the ride having a higher restriction than Goofy's Barnstormer which he rode last year. But at the same time other theme parks have rides much tamer than the Barnstormer but with higher restrictions.

Any ideas?

Cool Re: Crush Coaster Restrictions

Am I correct in recalling that they'll spin. In that case, it may be like Primevel Whirl which is 48". On the other hand, Crush is in an area geared to kids, so maby they can design restraints that will allow a lower height. Obviously, this is all speculation on my part.

You might find your answer here:
http://www.dlrp.fr/

It's in French, but you can translate by clicking the small Union Jack icon on most pages (doesn't appear to be on the first one, but if you click "news", that page has one in the upper right corner (ou peut etre vous parlez Francais).

A bientot.

Re: Crush Coaster Restrictions

The minimum height requirement will be 1 metre 04.

It says on the WDSFans website.

Re: Crush Coaster Restrictions

ouch, gonna be close, he's 96cm as of today, so thats 8cms to grow by September. Today's measurement was before shoes as well, may need to get him some decent soles.

Why is this so much higher than the Barnstomer?

Well, I think it goes a little faster than the Barnstormer but apart from that I am not sure.

Heights on rides are funny, for instance, the height for Indiana Jones is higher than Rock n' Roller Coaster, but the latter has 3 loops and the former only has one.

Very strange.

Cool Re: Crush Coaster Restrictions

The strangest to me is the difference between Indy and Dinosaur, which are the same vehicle. Glad the boy is tall enough that I don't have to have to translate from metric for heights-temps should be plenty for me.

A bientot.
