Kinda wish they had used the new moving mouth characters for this, would have been cool to see that over here this year

Ya it would. But I mean, it's not fun unless they talk. They should like get the train to move it's mouth and have it own saying.

Why is this show being performed during daylight hours? Its kinda pointless lighting the castle when you cant really see the lights etc! Imagine on a really sunny day!! It would be a good show to do at dusk or in evening when you'd be able to appreciate all the lighting effects etc

Yeah definitely. The lighting moment was meant to be really dramatic but it seemed really odd. I suppose it's more noticeable in person.

What is with the characters "playing" instruments? Dancing is not enough anymore, now they have to "play" the music they're dancing to as well?
Why "play" it for Bougillumination but not the parade, it's the same song!?!

i just got back from Disneyland Paris and i have seen my first Bougillumination and it's a great lighting show with Mickey and the gang .

We'll see. I hope to arrive at DLP tomorrow the 1st around 3pm. So hold the rain and the bad weather please. I understand the parade starts at 4pm and the illuminations show at 6pm... If you see me, say hello.

Not a bad little Castle Show but I throught the dance number with the hats was a bit odd.I guess it was performed during the day light hours due to the park not always closing while its dark.Especially seeing that nights are starting to get shorter due to Summer being just around the corner.Make sure you wrap up warm today TDLFAN,weather is very cold.

The video of Candlebration was of a day time version.I've just seen a few pics of the night time version which I guess will be shown when the parks are open until dark and it looks very impressive.Lumiere also has a role in this version and it was shown last night during the big press event.PM if anyone would like a link to the pics as there on another forum and I don't think the powers that be on MiceChat would apreciate the link.

during the off season when the park is closed before dusk it will be preformed during daylight, when the park is open after dusk, the show takes place in the evening

they probably had to ask permission with the surrounding towns to put up such a big fireworks display, so it's not an option to replace wishes with this

What I actually meant was for them to add a Wishes style show to the end of Candlebration.I'm fully aware that the large shell fireworks are not a option for them.And these are only ever use for big media events or sometimes Public Holidays.

Also on the subject of the fireworks I've got to say that Disneyland Resort Paris do them very well despite the limitations!
