![]() | DISNEY CRUISE LINE - Mediterranean? What about the Disney Cruise Line in the Mediterranean Sea? There were several mailings sent out to Disney Cruise Line guest if they were interested in sailing the Mediterranean Sea and apparently US guests would love to sail Europe just after the Carribean and Mexico. What do you think about this possible trip? |

![]() | My first trip to Europe with a Disney flair sign me up!! The only thing though is it would have to be at least a 10 day cruise. So with a 10 day cruise and maybe 2 days at the park the cost would be substantial. For a category 4, family of 4, the trip would be 8 to 10 thousand. It would take me 2 years to save for that... ...but sign me up!

![]() | Well the ships were built in Italy so it wouldn't be a question of transport across the Atlantic. I am not in favour of Disney building brand new ships for Disney Cruise Line Europe, I cannot see it being as popular with Europeans as it is with North Americans. But if they implemented a package for Europe like they have with West Coast USA, it would work brilliantly. Disney MAGIC * September - February East Coast Americas * March - August Mediterraenean Disney WONDER * September - February West Coast Americas * March - August East Coast Americas This way there is ALWAYS a Disney cruiser on an East Coast tour, like the ships were built for, but Europeans and West Coasteans get some magic too! |

![]() | I did the Disney Magic Cruise in 2002 and it was great. There are many cruises in the Med and I am sure Disney would be able to fill the ship during the summer, and maybe use it somewhere else for the rest of the year. Ian

![]() | If the cruise ship were to dock at Barcelona or Marseilles, it would only be a matter of a few hours on the TGV to reach the resort. They could run a Disney Express train, in the same way as the current Eurostar service from London. There's a lot of potential here! |

![]() | I can see the Disney Cruise making sense when conbined with a resort due to aproximity to the water such as the case with WDW, DLR, and the potential for it in Japan and Hong Kong, but Paris to a So. France Mediterranean port... long way.

![]() | I'd love to see a new ship built for the Med. But, I want my Magic to be sent back to the West Coast permanently. I love that boat.

![]() | Too bad the profit margin is too low in airlines... would love to fly Disney Air to Paris, visit DLP, hop on the Eurostar or TGV to the coast, board the Disney (insert great new boat name here) and cruise on to Greece, where Disney Air could take me home again.

![]() | It takes 3 hours from Marne-la-Vallée (Disneyland Resort Paris) to Marseille where the Cruise Line could be based - I do not think that 3 hours is a lot before boarding a 4-7 day cruise!!! The Cruise could do the following trip: Marseille - Genoa - Naples - Cagliari - Palma de Mallorca - Barcelona |
