Hi,
I come back from a trip to Paris and Disneyland Resort Paris, on thurday 5. The weather was great, and I couldn't wait to see all the new things for the 15th anniversary!!!
My feelings regarding the new parade are mixed, but mainly because there were problems this day. There were no parade music in the street , but only in the floats... I saw the parade on video AFTER, and I realised I didn't see the Alice float... VERY frustrating. I loved the floats frangrances though.
I don't really get why there are so many problems only 5 days after the official premiere and I definitely need to watch the parade again soon.

I found the park in very good shape, and looking great. The new Candy Palace is absolutely brilliant, and I was very happy they did such a fantastic job there. The shop looks even better now than it used to be IMO.

Eventually, as an annual passport holder, I could enjoy the extra magic hours (from 8 pm to 10 pm), the park looked so beautiful at night...
I rode Space Mountain 2 times successively at about 9 pm, and I found it was really not so bumpy as it used to be, or maybe was it just my imagination...

Thanks for those great photos. I am jealous your visit was great. Mine on April 1st was not all that great as the park closed early, the parade had technical dificulties, and I didn't get to see the new decor and Candleabration show at night, since it was still daytime when the park closed.
I will post my photos later tonight or tomorrow as well.

those are gorgeous pictures and the park looks so pretty. thank heavens they didn't turn the castle into a cake!!! someday i hope to make it to paris and then hop the train for a couple of days at DLPR.

What a beautiful park. I can't wait to see it next week. Can you tell more about the floats fragrances? That sounds so interesting.

Float fragances is something that has been done on parades at other Disney parks before. The first time being the MK's Xmas parade, where the kitchen float, where characters always seem to be cooking gingerbread cookies, leave that smell in the air. Also TDL debuted float fragances when it premiered "Bouquet of Love" Parade 3 yrs ago, and they did it again with "Tiara of Dreams" parade this year. I saw the DLP parade on April 1st and was not lucky to have smelled anything but the cigarette stink from the frumpy fat german woman next to me. Caused me sinus headaches that evening!

I thought the fragrance was a cool addition to the floats. I liked most of them but the last one. The Vilains floats fragrance is quite indescribable, weird, it really adds something to the float.
I didn't like the last float fragrance (with the princesses), smelled too much artificial flowers. Smelled like a bad air freshener.

Concidering how bad the cigarette smoke situation is inside DLP, I would have welcomed that aroma instead.

That is hilarious. I hope the Parade is "operational" next Thursday.
The smoking really drives me crazy too. I have long hair and for some reason smoke just clings to it. yuck!

DLRP has fixed the problem and fragrances have been working few days now, so hopefully it'll surpass the cigarette smell.

Doubtful. They need a strict smoking policy and smoke-only areas, like all of the other Disney parks have instituded. I don't quite understand why DLP remains in the dark ages in regards to this simply and very real health issue. The europeans need to wise up too in regards to cigarrette smoking.

While I hate smoking as well, this park... Is in Europe. Can't they be allowed to run it as such? Or should they give in to your much-reiterated standards so they can please the 3% of guests that are American?

I mean, no offense, but your sort of megalomanic attitude is what caused the resort's financial state in the first place.
