Re: No Jungle Cruise at DLP?

So what's new *****cat? What is on the cards for DLP past Stitch Live and ToT? As ToT or Crush have shown, these rides take ages to build and there are no signs of anything apart from Woody's Roundup. Oh dear!

Re: No Jungle Cruise at DLP?

Looking at GoogleEarth i would think the best spot for sticking something like Splash is by extending the path past Indy and looping it around to the front of Pirates and then building the mountain in that corner. There's a space about three times the size of Indy in that corner behind Indy and Pirates and could go bigger if you allowed the train to go through the middle.

The problem would be viewing vantages from the different points on the mountain as you would get a pretty dissapointing view of the roof and backside of pirates from up there.

Re: No Jungle Cruise at DLP?

They'd just have to be cunning about that I suppose. I think they intend to do something rather different with this splash mountain, I can just tel...course I'm probably completely wrong

Would they though? The vantage point from the castle balcony ruins the magic of many of the Fantasyland buildings and nothing has been done about that in the last 15 years!

What could they do? Plant trees on them? Build little gables and turrets on top of the gables and turrets? I know what you mean, but it seems hard to avoid.

Maybe a few trees in the right spots would block the unsightly views? Surely they could have planned something during the design of the park.

Re: No Jungle Cruise at DLP?

We can still see the topic, we're just off piste a little for the softer snow

Re: No Jungle Cruise at DLP?

So you're basically saying Splash Mountain is much softer than Jungle Cruise? I don't disagree with you there. I just don't see the appeal of Jungle Cruise in the slightest

Re: No Jungle Cruise at DLP?

No, he got it right... you're proposing a Jungle Ski Adventure, right?

Re: No Jungle Cruise at DLP?

CaliforniaAdventurer, you're a genius! Jungle Ski! It's sure to be a hit, and since it rains and is freezing in Paris all year round it'll be perfect!
