And my next trip to DLP will be for...

So, we are probably all planning on visiting DLP again (if not for the first time!) in the near future. I know some MCers are maybe going soon to check out Halloween or possibly are waiting until the Christmas celebrations are in full swing.
So, what are you waiting for? Is your next planned visit for a particular reason? Waiting until Hollywood Blvd is finished perhaps? Or are we not planning on going again until Splash Mountain finally makes an appearance? Or do you just go there on a regular basis with no excuse required?

I may be going in the Spring as part of a Magic Music Day. However, my real reason will be to ride ToT and see Stitch Live (now officially called that apparently!)

I'll try to make it for the ToT this December. Not particularly to ride the thing (even though I obviously will), but just to walk around it, see the pre-show (lobby etc.), see the gift shop and take the deepest breath I have taken in that park since it first opened. The Towers are fabulous, true blue Disney attractions and to have one at the WDS will mean that it finally has a ride that can proudly compete with the best of DLP. I'll make an effort to be among the first in line, so to speak.

I'll most likely be returning in 2008, perhaps March or April.

This halloween (30th so close) but only to DLP for a very limited period of time. Alas, but I'd rather spend 5 hours in DLP then no time at all (I think I speak for everyone there). I've never been during Halloween before so I'm hoping that it won't look as horrid and hideous as it's billed up ot be. I love the concept of the pumpkin men but not the pink witches or some of the more ugly fixtures like the crane. We'll see anyway

I avoid DLP's Halloween like the plague. Can't get over those witches!

I'll be going for a few days right after Christmas. It's all about Belle's Christmasland. Yeah!

Are you going to gamble with the fact that it may open early? Or do you know something we don't? As far as I know, there is still no offical opening date.

This may interest you if you haven't already seen it...

Is ToT still scheduled for a January opening? If so it seems possible there'd be a soft opening in December...

Re: And my next trip to DLP will be for...

I just assumed it was December 22, since that's what it says on Disney Central Plaza, which is where all the know-it-alls seem to be. I'm not sure if that's correct or what sort of opening that will be (CM, VIP, Shareholders, soft, grand) but it seems they're aiming for December 22.

I'm considering a couple of short trips next year one for Halloween and another for Christmas. But we'll have to wait and see what happens...
