Oh 'appy day

Unfortunately, my French is far from perfect and I haven't yet been able to determine the nature of the following clip, specifically if it is another amateur production of the YouTube generation or an actual commercial/promo to be used by DLRP. Whatever it is, it's quite unsettling, haha.

I mean no offense to the French, but "Oh happy day"? This puts their alienation to Anglo culture at almost Eastern European levels, haha. Remember how we were discussing the Eurovision? You can't use a downloaded recording of a Sunday morning in an African American Southern church and use it in a promo for Disneyland in France. You just can't. You might even say it's a faux-pas.

And I haven't even mentioned the bellhop yet...

Or do we all quite like this and I'm being a xenophobic douche?

It was a bit naff but I actually quite liked it! And it looks to me rather genuine.

It may have been better if Richie Cunningham and The Fonz had appeared in it as well- it would have at least explained the odd choice of song.

And advertising HSM on tour as a 'New Show'? Stretching it a little.

its cute.. but it seems kind of a weird transition from the dreams music to "oh happy day".

I like the shot of the fireworks and the castle, but the rest, lame.
Who is the tween lip synching? Is she the French Hanna Montanna? Lame.

this is an internal spot an will only be used onsite - either for the cast members and maybe for hotel tv sets.

I think it would be too long for a tv spot.
