Refurbishment for the castle after the 15th?

Does anyone know if the castle will receive a badly needed refurbishment after the (extended) 15th is over?

How about a refurbishing of the whole park to make it look new and shiny?

I agree to that. Although a lot of work was done before the 15th started, there is still a lot that needs to be done. Some areas of the park still remain in need of major work.

I agree with the castle refurbishment. The painting and all needs to be redone again. It's been a long time since the last one

I was quite dissapointed to see the castle not refurbished before all the 15th Anniversary candles were placed up. I made a point of referencing this when I took part in a guest survey in 2003 and good to see my coments were taken on board.

I'm not sure that's how it works.

Re: Refurbishment for the castle after the 15th?

In the state the Park actually is, from fences to castles, from Alice Labyrinth to Skull Rock and the soon-to-be-sinking pirate ship, it seems like impossible to refurbish all this in only one fiscal year, would take 5 years to refurbish the park and make it look as new as its California counterpart...
Even thouth i'm in love with DLP, everytime I go there, the state of things makes me sick to my stomach... Don't go there only a few weeks after having been to any other Disney's Magic Kingdom.... That turned me crazy...

Re: Refurbishment for the castle after the 15th?

I doubt the castle is high up on the priority refurb list. It's true that virtually the whole park has been left to rack and ruin and the problem that they now have is that they need to do it all in one quick go at this point or else get into a 'Forth Bridge' situation

I think they'll also rename the castle after "Beauty and the Beast" as "The Castle of Belle and the Beast".

Hmm...Le Château de la Belle et la Bête? I kind of prefer Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant; it sounds more elegant.

Re: Refurbishment for the castle after the 15th?

I would hate to plan another trip to DLRP and have the castle under rehab. That has always been on the back of my mind. I remember how disappointed Guests were back in 04 when DL's Castle was under tarps. They were dissapointed.

True. As badly as I want them to maintain the park. I would rather see the castle in disrepair than under tarps during my visit.
