This is old. It's already been discussed and those CMs at the Disneyland Paris were fired.

I didn't laugh, but I guess there are some who have howled while watching this footage.

I'm glad there was a 'round of firings, though. Idiots.

Yeah that was on the news a while back as well and posted here... CM's messing around backstage.

It doesn't seem THAT "shocking" to me as your title says, but yes, it is very wrong and I'm sure the park took action. Of course kids shouldn't see it but it was on most news stations repeated over and over so I'm sure a few did. It's just a case of dumb CM's who thought it'd be funny- and someone with a cell phone camera.

Cast Members are humans to, and they do stupid things. They might of even wanted the cell phone video to "leak" on the net so they'd get their 15 min of fame. As weird as that sounds, it wouldn't surprise me (same as other bad videos you see posted all over the place).

I agree CM are human too, but when in the park there are things you don't do especially while dressed as a character

Yes, if you read my full post you would see that I think it's extreamly wrong what they did. And in NO way am I saying it's "ok" or giving a reason for them to get away with it. I'm just pointing out the following-

Disney (don't know about Paris, I assume it's the same) is a only a low-paying part time job to some people, so you're gonna get stupid CM's who think it's a "just a job" and mess around. Not everyone is into the super-Disney-magic as the company wants. I agree that it's wrong to think that way and everyone really needs to take their work serious, no matter what the pay since they chose to work at Disney anyways.

Of course I hope the park fired them, sadly those CM's could probably care-less and are out causing problems somewhere else. If Disney had 24/7 video cameras and mics recording what all CM's say and do backstage, almost EVERYONE would probably be fired, haha.

If I had carried a camera with me backstage when I worked at DLRP, there wouldn't be a single employee left! Really folks, this sort of stuff happens almost daily. I'm not condoning the actions of those in the video - they should have stopped as soon as they realised they were being filmed. Nevertheless, I think we need a little perspective here.
Oh, and by the way - this news is so old, it's practically fossilised!

Now come on how can we get over people messing around with there friends at work!!!! Yes it was stupid, but it was years ago it is done and gone and over with. It was a bunch of CM's screwing around (no pun intended) backstage...TRUST ME IT HAPPENS IN EVERY DISNEY PARK! The biggest mistake was doing it in front of a camera.

Where was it ever stated these guys were fired?

My only concern with this video is how a camera of any kind made it backstage in first place.
