Darkbeer... while not on here if you check back please get some shots of the 7,000 SQ FT of Legos at the Train Show... I'll be there tomorrow specifically for that, and to see a few model trains err I mean I will be taking the family there to see trains and maybe walk over to the Lego exhibit.

Swab, excellent job at benchwarming... maybe someday we will let you in the ring with the big boys!

Since you don't seem able to identify a 'big boy' when you see one, I doubt you'd even be able to find the 'ring' either. Stick with your strengths: trip reports.

Debates can be pretty tiring... can you please get me some water when you have a chance... and a towel... I'm starting to sweat here!

Bottom line it's the 17th but please do not try and tell David any different. He has his mind made up. He likes tosee everyone get worked up about this and DCA...just stop feeding the fire. It only serves to make him smile and say "my work here is done."

Why thank you. I figure if the MC's like it, the Media might like it, and I could run for president without being asked a tough question! Vote for me... because I said so...

While arguments can be made for both dates, I'm in the July 17th camp. Walt made his big dedication speech, dedicated each of the lands, and the drawbridge to Sleeping Beauty Castle was lowered. Large crowds of people enjoyed a fully-operational Disneyland for the first time.

Is anyone getting 'worked up'? It appears to be a respectful debate so far. Many interesting and valid points are being brought up and discussed, IMO.

I'm getting worked up... but only because I keep reading this rather then heading off to Disneyland! Need to meet a friend at 14:30, lucky it only takes 5 minutes to get there =P

Oh, and: July 17th, because they made us dawn on buttons... of which, last years (funny enough, buttons on July 17th again =P were much nicer) <- Does that count?

Stop getting worked up. Go to Disneyland. Don't forget your invitation.

This has got to be the most polite and respectful debate I think I've ever seen on here. I'm actually quite impressed.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

Put my two cents in for the 17th as the official day.

    So.. Happy belated Anniversary/Birthday Disneyland!

Being a Leap Year baby I can see wanting to celebrate 2 different days as your birthday.

    Well...

I found a picture of it... BTW do I get extra points because the picture is of Pressler holding it?
