The night of Disneyland's Birthday as a Backstage Magic give away I was in the Disneyland Hotels Mickey Mouse Penthouse. It was simply fantastic, and so much fun. The Disneyland hotel really put everything they could into it! It is open to the public for a round price of $3,500 a night, and comes with an amazing view of the Resort.



Micky Mouse talks, and plays games with you from this Magical Mirror on your right as you walk in.

Me overlooking the Resort. There are so many other cool pictures, though they didn't come out very well, or they have myself, or my wonderful girlfriend in them. The Children's bathroom glows in the dark, and the Master bathroom shower has 6 faucet heads. The Magic Mirror is very neat, and as I said, plays games with you. There's so much I'm missing, but this is what happens when you're not one to take a lot of pictures. I'd rather spend the time making the memory, rather then taking pictures of it... sorry =(

It sounds like a great room. I would love to stay there. I have also seen pics of the suites inside the Grand Californian. My friend stayed there. It is also amazing there too. So expensive though. Living only 15-20 min from DLR I have not stayed at the hotels in a long time. I really would like to stay in one of the suites. Great pics.

When my family stayed on the Concierge level, after we were done at the lounge, we strolled over to the Penthouse. A maid was cleaning it and we asked if we could look inside and she let us! It was great! I loved it in there, my favorite room being the living room with the cool ceiling.

Anyway, congrats on the win and hope you enjoyed the Penthouse!

I wish I had taken more, though I'm just not much for taking pictures. Heck, my camera is from the 90s. I wish I had more, I just wish I didn't need to take them; or maybe have a smaller camera.

Wow, what a great experience, I'm so envious! I wish I could stay there, but unless I win the lottery (I guess I have to buy tickets to actually win ), I don't see this happening. Thanks for sharing your pictures. If you win again, I'll volunteer to go along as your official photographer

"Back stage magic" allows cast members to win some of the Year of a Million Dreams prizes that guests win (ie. the "backstage" part since CM's can't win in the regular guest promotion). With thousands of CM's working around the resort I'm glad Disney is doing this. Plus it gives the CM's a chance to see what the guests actually get.
