I'd like to continue seeing Aladdin!
I agree with Mulan as a musical. I would definitely want to see that. Hercules sounds like a good choice too.
I doubt Disney would put out a show in DCA while it's already on Broadway (Poppins, Lion King, Little Mermaid).
haha I know it is not a Disney movie (so no way it'd be in DCA), but I would LOVE to see an Anastasia musical based on the animated movie, not the actual story.
I agree that I'd like to keep seeing Aladdin in the Hyperion but Disney has a multitude of really great source material to draw on for alternatives. Not Nemo. I also don't think that they should repeat anything from other parks or old shows. That means no Tarzan, Lion King, Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, Snow White, Hunchback of Notre Dame or the many different history of Disney shows.
I think that something traditional would help with the draw. Mary Poppins is the most logical one I've heard so far. I think the venue would be very appropriate and the effects would be achievable and still be interesting. Cinderella might be another good option. Much though it irritates me because I really hate that movie. Or they could put the Happiest Millionaire onstage. They could also do a seasonal Babes In Toyland for the Holidays.
Personally..... I think I'd love to see Hello Dolly! It would tie the new Wall-E with the traditional aspects of the Hollywood backlot and it's the music from Main Street.

Both park shows opened long before the Broadway show did.
The only way to bring Beauty and the Beast back to the DLR is if they use a short version of the Broadway musical, anything else would just be a rehash of the original park stage show.
And just curious what is it about Nemo that made it the worst ever?
When I saw Nemo for the first time, I wanted to hate it but I just couldn't do it, the show is well writen and acted and the music is fun, what's not to like?
Besides, I did see Tarzan Rocks! no words could even describe how misguided that show was. I also have seen Steps in Time "the Hyperion's premiere show" and the Snow White musical, so worst ever Nemo is not.
Here's a question for everyone, why does it have to be a Musical from an animated or live feature?
What ever happened to original shows that may include but aren't based on a single feature? Why has the mouse gotten so scared to try original material?

Well, this is my own personal opinion, and maybe they feel the same way. Creating an original, full-length musical, not based on anything, is difficult in terms of time span for a theme park. If you see an actual Broadway show, it can end up running two and a half hours in length to be justifiable to the story; if you create a condensed version of a film already created, and the public is mostly familiar with that story, they are more likely to be forgiving of the rushed areas of the musical offering itself.
Also, in terms of profit for the company (oye), it's not remotely as beneficial as pushing properties already created - more plush!
I think something like Animazement would be wonderful...I think the biggest hurdles are making a newer version of that better, and also orchestrating it correctly so that it is seamless.
Take me to Neverland...
Tarzan Rocks was probably the worst show I've ever seen. My nickname for it was "Porn on a Vine". It was awful.
Nemo: The Musical... LOOKS great but has really bad songs.
Just for the sake of "been there done that", let's not see a new show with Tarzan or Nemo.

There are only 2 good songs in the show (Go With the Flow & Big Blue World). I hate that you can see the performers, I think it ruins it. And I'm sick to death of Nemo, it's a movie that if you've seen it once, you've seen it a million times. They're thrusting it in our face with loads of different Nemo related attractions, much like they did with the Lion King, but the difference with the Lion King is that it was a good movie!

AMEN!! When I worked at WDW we used to laugh at the Tarzan show all the time. We called it The X rated Disney show. My roommate worked at the Lion King show there and we went and watched that all the time. I still think there is enough material out there for Disney not to have to repeat.

In honor of Wall-E, what about a condensed version of "Hello Dolly!"
I saw Tarzan rocks 8 years ago and we walked out of the show like we witnessed a brutal attack. Terrible show is being too kind.
How bout a scaled down version of the Broadway BatB show?
Toonaspie: I have Asperger's. I like cartoons. Toonaspie!
God I hope not. The venue is so classic looking and to replace the beautiful music from Aladdin for some hokey Toy Story musical.
