Both parades don't feature show stops so pretty much anywhere is a good location. But the Sun Plaza is usually the most crowded, the area in between the Vine and Bugs land is usually not packed.
I like sitting at the benches right outside Napa Rose, usually people don't sit in front of you and it's nice and up close.
I'm probably in the minority on this one, but I love sitting next to the gates at the very end of the parade. I love watching the floats all the way until the very last second!
That's just me, though.

sorry for being semi- :ot: , but is there any really good spot to watch the Parade of Dreams? There are show stops on this parade, right?
Thanks Dan-Tasmic!:)
It seems to me that if you watched the ELP at the start (over by the Pier), then you could cut behind everybody and make it out of the park before the parade got down to them ... correct?
I'll give my opinion for the best place to watch each parade:
PPP- Sunshine Plaza right where it comes out.
DEP- Right by the Orange Stinger where it comes out.
POD- Just make sure you get Pinocchio, Little Mermaid, or Lion King floats for the show stop.
Don't mean to bother anyone but it's The Electrical Parade. :)
Well since I work Pixar Play, I can say that if you watch it at Sunshine Plaza, you'll have IMO the best view. the curve in the route while allow you to have a panorama view of the floats if your in the center. It will be crowded, but I would say 30 minutes early would guarantee you comfortable seating.
as for Electrical, I say in front of that San Fran building thats never used. It wont be crowded, you'll have Paradise Pier as a backdrop, and because its not crowded all of the performers will look to you and smile and hold the smile for just about any photo you want to take.
Two questions: Where is the San Fran building in CA? And where do the Pinocchio, Little Mermaid, and Lion King floats have show stops in the Dreams Parade in DL?
