I'm gonna guess around 200 feet... because that's the highest a building can be with out having one of those blinking red lights for plains..so Disney tries to stay away from that by making it just under the limit. That goes for most tall structures in the Disney theme parks.

Re: tower hotel....so boring...

Wikipedia states ToT at DCA stands 183 feet, which makes it the tallest attraction at the resort, and the tallest building in Anaheim. Hmmm. I would have thought Angel Stadium was taller....
But thats what it says 183 ft.

I like the aesthetic of the DCA version. I just love the the time period in general...its art deco design and the 30s CM costume. Its a thing of beauty. Thats probably why the designs are so consistent: Because its freegin awesome!

Re: tower hotel....so boring...

I do love the design and structure of the one in DCA. However, my first ride ever on the ToT was in WDW, so DCA doesn't compare haha.

Re: tower hotel....so boring...

What makes the WDW one superior to the DCA one? The dropping sequences or something else? I cant wait to try the DCA version!

Re: tower hotel....so boring...

I still think they should prominently put Disneyland's address on the tower now (1313 Harbor Way). Some might object since it is supposed to be MM - Mickey Mouse -- but I still think it would be cool.

Re: tower hotel....so boring...

You can say the same for a bunch of other Disney park buildings.

WDW and TDL castles.
DL and HKDL castles, and Main St. Stations.
DL and TDL Space Mountains.

It's cheaper to build something more than once when you already have the plans drawn up.

Florida's Tower is larger than any other. It actually has six vertical ride shafts running in the building. There are four ascent shafts at the rear, each leading to the "5th Dimension." The leftmost and rightmost pairs of shafts lead to one of the two drop shafts located at the front of the building. All other Towers built to date contain, as you mention, 3 vertical shafts which accomodate both the ascent and descent of the elevators.
