    Disney After Dark with Anders

I headed off to the parks the other night just to experiment taking pictures. Some turned out better than others, but I thought I would share some of the results and I hope you enjoy!

A view that won't be around too much longer

Who knew how sparkly you could make Ariel's Grotto?

This is the control portion of the experiment.

to make you all a little dizzy

to make sure you all are dizzy

I have to admit these next few were happy accidents, the Electrical Parade sort of became abstract, but I think it turned out kind of cool, but if it makes you dizzy as well, I apologize.

I then headed over to Disneyland and walked up Main Street

I worked my way over near Fantasia Gardens to take in the fireworks

Just how fast do those things go anyways?

Heading back out of the park, I stopped by for a Sleeping Beauty Castle photo

As I was heading to the tram, Tink made the Mickey Floral really shine for us.

Erik - those pictures are great! I love the Tea Cup shots - they capture so much of what I love about that ride.
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!

Those pictures are amazing! I have to ask, what kind of camera/lens do you use?

the photos are with my Canon 30D and the lens is a Canon EFS 18-55 IS. I also used a cross flare filter for some of the shots.

Cool, thanks. I'm looking into investing in a higher quality camera than the point-and-shoot that I currently have.

I only recently got mine, wedding gift to myself. More pics with the camera. I previously had just a point and shoot as well. If you are into photography, I highly recommend a DSLR.

Browse the internet and check out the photography club in MiceChat Gold, we can give you lots of info there.

    Anders,

Are you going to post high res. versions of these on your smugmug page? The Teacup and paradise pier shots whould make great desktops.

    Thanks!

Anders - Thanks for sharing these! I love that last shot of the Mickey Floral with that cross flare filter. I'm gonna have to get me one of those. Glad to see that you are putting that new Canon 30D to good use.

And your smugmug page is amazing!

Looking forward to seeing more of your great shots in the future!

I liked all the pictures but my favorite was the first one posted with the sunsetting over Paradise Pier.
