i heard that there is a secret club at the top of Splash Mountain in Disneyland in LA, California.

I have been going to Disneyland my whole life and have never herd this rumor before. My girlfriend and sister both have worked at the park and they have never herd that either. There is a secret club right outside the exit of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. It's called Club 33. Although it's not much of a secret anymore. Most people know about it but only a hand full of people get to go into it.

There have been several children abducted by kidnappers at DL - I've heard this one a lot and of course it is not true.

And I don't think I would call it a legend, but lost children are taken to IASW and are forced to perform in the ride 24/7. Haha. (I love the Family Guy spoof they did of this one).

Disneylies has some pretty good ones too, some which are downright hilarious:

The Legend: The Refreshment Corner café on Main Street (hosted by Coca-Cola) used to openly sell cocaine.
Behind the legend: No Disneyland location has ever openly sold illegal drugs, although there is a mind-altering substance in the park's churros that makes eaters think the treats are actually worth more than 75 cents.

The Legend: The Skyway was closed permanently after a guest fell from one of the cabins.
Behind the Legend: Wrong on three accounts: 1) It wasn't closed permanently, it was (in Disneyland's terms) "closed extended -temporarily with intervening uninstallation." 2) He wasn't a guest, but an international industrial espionage agent. 3) He didn't fall, he was pushed.

My S-I-L and her family to this day are convinced that the coca cola sold at Coke Corner is a different formula and is better than anywhere else in the park or the world for that matter.

See, this is what I mean...who's Timmy???

Timmy is the name given to a little boy ghost reportedly seen in the Haunted Mansion. Story goes he loved the ride so much his family dumped his ashes there. Various cast members say they have seen a little boy on monitors, or out of the corner of their eye at unload.

POC Stories...
One of the prisoners is rumored to be modeled after comedian Sid Caesar. If you look at the last cell, the pirate on his knees in the yellow shirt bears a striking resemblance to this famous funny-man.

Near the end of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, the white haired prisoner in one of the cells is allegedly based on a janitor who worked at Walt Disney Productions in California

And finally, albeit from WDW Pirates ride, fun nonetheless:

It is rumored that the Cast Members must say hello to "George", the resident "ghost" in Pirates of the Caribbean. If a Cast Member doesn't give the morning greeting, or someone on the ride insists, "George isn't real," then the ride will break down. George was rumored to be an Imagineer who designed the track system for the ride.

Yes, that is actually true!

Here's one:

When the king of Belgium visited Disneyland and asked Walt why the Matterhorn had holes in it, he said, "Because it's a swiss mountain!"

That may be true, but it seems unconfirmed as far as I can tell.

Well, if you beleive in ghosts it could be true. What is fact is that Haunted Mansion and POC are 2 rides that people like to try and dump ashes of loved ones. If you ever hear a clean up code that referes to HEPA clean up, that human ashes removal. Someone tried on POS late last year/early this year.

Jasmine cheated on Aladdin with Indy and that's why he moved into her Oasis home at Disneyland.

I don't know the exact details on what happened, but I heard Sleeping Beauty was involved also.
