Any Wall-E yet?

My daughter is driving me mad! Coming over from the UK next week, and she is in love with Wall-E. Are we likely to see a robot Wall-E wandering the streets? Is there a lot of merchandise on site?
Thanks guys
Jane

Re: Any Wall-E yet?

I know that the stores have merchandise like plushies, figurines, and books...
But no Wall-E robot wandering around yet. Sorry

Re: Any Wall-E yet?

They have a Wall-E display at DCA (in the Hollywood area) but just a little statue type thing, not the actual Wall-E.

Re: Any Wall-E yet?

I was there a few days ago, and all the plushies were sold out. I didn't see very much..there were a few storybooks, and a little plastic build your own robot thing, and a figure of the Capt. but that was all I saw.

Re: Any Wall-E yet?

I picked up the fully-poseable wall-e figurine. It's made of plastic, but the detail is nice and it's a fun desk decoration to tinker around with. Right now he's playing a relic in my Lego Indiana Jones set. Look out for the huge rolling wall-e. I mean boulder. I mean.. yeah.

Re: Any Wall-E yet?

The amount of Wall-E merch at the parks is very very low and won't change for a few months. The primary factory that makes the merch; flooded. Hopefully there will be another push when the DVD comes out.

Re: Any Wall-E yet?

There had been a giant inflatable WALL E near the Disneyland Hotel. Though I'm not sure if it's still there.

Ah, how could I forget that?!

Not to be anti-Disneyland stores, but you can probably find some Wall-E merch in a regular toy store. My brother got the EVE that talks when you talk and a Wall-E gripper claw at Toys R Us.
The Disney Store might have some too.

Re: Any Wall-E yet?

Here's a video I made of them interacting with each other. They have microphones built in so they talk to each other and will react to you. Also they both know when you yell at them. so when you yell at wall-e he whimpers in his robot kind of way. when you yell at eve, guess what she does. she shoots you with her laser canon. haha...

Re: Any Wall-E yet?

I work in the shops at DLR and we pretty much have nothing left. Like the MC'er Wally said the factory flooded. Also we thought the movie wasnt going to be that popular, so we never ordered that much to begin with. All we have left are the Capt. figuries and a Bag-o-Bots (its a bag of little yellow and white plastic rejected bots...reminds me of the army men)
